The chord progression presents a great theory learning experience covering lots of surprising changes featuring extended chords, secondary dominants, parallel major/minor substitutions, “lift”, an augmented chord and more. The melody is a bit twisty with some chromatics and hammer crosses, but it should be manageable for intermediate and advanced level players. Included in these lessons is an extensive discussion for the rationale for the chord progression, the hammering for the melody, a backup, a basic arrangement, variations, and practice tracks.
