Learn Spring Security - Coaching Class
The Master Class of Learn Spring Security (349$ value)
The canonical reference for securing a Spring application.
The 15 modules (+ 3 upcoming) cover everything from the basics of Spring Security in an MVC application to advanced use-cases such as understanding attack vectors, proper password storage and risks, API security with OAuth2 and full Java config.
In addition to the framework guides, we'll also do deep-dives into full working security implementations. We'll do a complete ACL implementation for applications that simply need to go beyond the roles and privileges.
We'll tackle Two-Factor Authentication to add extra security to our apps. We're going to drive that with a soft-token, a hardware token and finally with SMS.
And we'll do implementations of things like Multi-Tenancy, LDAP, Single Sign 0n and a variety of other scenarios
This is everything I wish I had access to when I secured my first application with Spring Security.
The Monthly Group Coaching Calls (300$ value)
The self-study Master Class is a great place to start. The monthly coaching calls are the next step.
You'll get access to 6 Monthly Q&A coaching calls with me as well as to the 3 in-depth workshops I'm running in the first half of this year.
In the Q&A calls, you can ask me about:
- specific Spring questions and issues you're running into in your particular implementation
- architectural decisions you're working through when designing your API
- the challenging parts of the course
Basically, this is the hands-on, tailored advice on how the lessons in the course apply to your specific API.
The Workshops (267$ value)
You'll also get access to my workshops:
- Advanced API Security - 2 Hour Workshop (89$)
- Advanced API Discoverability and HATEOAS - 2 Hour Workshop (89$)
- A CQRS and Event Sourcing Implementation with Spring and Spring Boot - 2 Hour Workshop (89$)
FAQ
Will the live calls be recorded?
Yes - you'll have access to recordings of all previous coaching calls.
What timezone will the live calls be on?
We'll generally have the live events at 10AM and 3PM Central.
What if I can't make a call?
That's perfectly fine - if you're not able to attend a live call - you can still send in your question and I'll answer it live. You can then of course go through it in the recording.
Can I send someone else from my team instead?
Of course. The main goal of these calls is to help you build your API - so if a developer from your team needs to be on the call, it's perfectly fine if they join the live event.
You'll receive the signup information for the course + your invitation to the first live coaching call.
