My name is Kelvin Tan and I am a 3D Artist in the games industry. I have over five years of experience in the industry working on a AAA title and I specialize primarily in 3D modeling and handpainted textures. Over the past few months, I have created a variety of handpainted tutorials that are available through my Gumroad and Selz sites. With each new release, I've been contacted by numerous customers inquiring about personalized instruction, and I am excited to announce that I am now offering seats for private monthly mentorships.

What Will the Mentorship Include?

I am aiming to build a mentorship that is customized, flexible and collaborative by nature. All communication will be conducted via email and students will have the opportunity to send any questions throughout the month regarding personal artwork or the game industry in general. Being that this program is not a course, students will be primarily responsible for determining what they want to learn and achieve each month, and I will do my best to oblige and provide recommendations based on the individual's current skill level. Where applicable, I will provide in-depth paintovers and suggestions for your current works in progress as well as offer pertinent tricks and tips to help increase efficiency. The ultimate goals of the mentorship are to help student mentees diagnose strengths and weaknesses, hand paint textures with confidence, and develop deeper insight into the game industry with valuable, timely, and practical instruction and advice.

Additionally, you will also be added to a private Facebook group where you can post your progress, exchange ideas and recieve critiques throughout the month with fellow students.
