Teemu is one half of the twin guitar assault in the power metal band Wintersun. He's not only a blazing player, he's also the most technical player we have interviewed when it comes to awareness of his own technique. He has developed an array of techniques for teaching Code-style picking movements, including fundamentals like achieving downward and upward pickslanting, the effect of pick grip on pickslanting, the use of different pick gauges as a teaching tool, the use of finger movement in both edge picking and pickslanting, and converting players from one pickslant to another.
