MODO Lighting from the Beginning

This is a training video of considerable depth. Not only do you get 2 hours of video tutorial on lighting in modo, you get to learn the fundamentals of lighting as applied in the real world, in movies, television and even painting. This video starts you out at the beginning, looking at each individual light type available in modo and explains what the light does and what it can be used for. Moreover, this video goes into depth on the parameter panels of each light and teaches you what you need to know to get the most out of lighting your own images.

That's only the beginning! Getting more advanced, this video will begin to delve into different lighting setups. You will learn how to bring depth to your subjects the same as would be done in the photography studio or on the movie set. Start with a basic 3 point lighting setup and learn how you can branch out from there. Create dramatic effects or horror movie night lighting, and learn how you can employ the different lights available in modo to bring your images to a new level. Learn how to use Global Illumination, and then learn how to fake Global Illumination by controlling all the lights yourself and save on precious render time.
