Poetry Post Card

I've been collecting post cards the past few years and sending them out to people all over the world. I write a little poem or quote from a book, slap on a stamp, and send them out straight to your mailbox.

These post cards are works of art

They feature illustrations and photographs from artists the world over. They're beautiful enough to stick in a frame and hang on your wall. 

But I also try to make both sides something special.

Each post card comes with a unique and personal message. I'll grab a quote from one of my books or come up with a little poem just for you.

They travel far and wide

I've sent post cards to Seattle, Portland, Calgary, and Boulder. To Texas suburbs and the countryside of Kansas.

These little messages have flown to dusty villages in Mexico and quaint cafes in France.

They've made it all the way down under to where the wallabies roam and have crossed into Russia and China.

There's nothing quite like a letter from a friend

Every post card starts and ends with a conversation. Many of these little messages have turned into letters back and forth. To gifts in the mail. To continued correspondence.

I am constantly amazed and humbled by the what these words do for people.

What began as search for post cards in airports and gift shops, has become a stockpile of these little works of arts just waiting for a new home. 

This one's for you

I'm sitting here, pen in hand, waiting for you to tell me where to send the next post card.
