The Happiness Agent Chapter 8

In the not-too-distant future, displays are captured on glasses and contacts. Implants allow people to control their pocket computers through thought. Memories are stored and can be reviewed, but they have not yet been written or altered. Until Lorelai figures out how.

Picking up where Chapter 7 left off, Lorelai continues to have memory bleeds from Slade's past. Chelsea runs into trouble at work, an old friend returns, and a couple of mafia goons continue tracking down John and Reuben. Chapter 8 of The Happiness Agent closes out Volume 2 of the story so far.
