This painting was painted in alla prima, entirely wet into wet, and I would suggest you to try it as it is very efficient. However it could be painted in 2 layers. if so, I would let it dry after image 7 and start with fresh paint from 8.

From image 3, please pay close attention to the initial application of color and the order at which the colors are placed on the canvas. (starting with the darkest dark and lightest light) This is very important in order to keep the colors 'clean', to paint efficiency and ultimately the quality of the outcome.
