Partita 1 in B Minor by JS Bach arr. Derek Gripper

Bach's beautifully intimate first Partita originally for solo violin has been played/arranged by many guitarists. This arrangement is something very new: The tuning / capo combination is unique and allows access to open strings throughout the key of b minor - making this version very resonant and easy to play...most of it is in the first position, just like rennaissance vihuela music or early lute music. It is a companion piece to the first Sonata in G Minor which is also available in a new arrangement here.
