Fractal Portrait - The Old Man of the Forest 8x10

Introducing my new fine art series: Fractal Portraits! Debuting at the Dayton Visual Art Center on Friday, July 6, 2018. These images are crafted with hand painted fractals and old family or public domain photos. The final images are printed on 1/2" thick maple wood. The grain and other characteristics of the wood shows through the light and white areas of the image for a natural warm tone and vintage feel. A "float" hanger for mounting makes the image stand out from the wall.

About this image: The Old Man of the Forest only comes out during the twilight. He watches over all the trees, plants, and insects. He will only let you pass in peace if you treat his forest with love. Be forewarned: his wrath is merciless. Tread lightly and carefully on your journey.
