It is a common fantasy to be able to lose fat without counting anything (or counting as little as possible).

Conventional wisdom says this is impossible, but conventional wisdom is often wrong.

I first started questioning the “calorie counting” approach a few years back, when I studied Classic Age and Golden Age Bodybuilders.

These men were able to get into great physical condition, with single-digit bodyfat, yet there was one major detail that people overlooked.

THEY NEVER COUNTED CALORIES.

What?!!?!??!!?!?

How were men like Lee Haney, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Frank Zane, Serge Nubret, Sergio Oliva, Larry Scott, and Steeve Reeves able to get into SINGLE DIGIT BODYFAT without counting calories and macros?

Did you know that it was not until 1990 that Food Manufacturers had to include calories on the labels of food? 

Outrageous right?

Yet bodybuilders were getting ripped for DECADES, and they could not count anything. The most they could do was TWO things:

1) Weigh themselves, and look in the mirror.
