PLAY(ed)BOY is a zine about heartbreak seen from all angles. It was created to showcase stories of emotional vulnerability (or toughness) that defy traditional conceptions of the way gender plays into romantic pain. The work contained within is the product of many contributions, and a host of poets, fiction writers, and visual artists have featured pieces. Hopefully this zine will be but one stepping stone in the creation of a literary scene as vibrant, fun, and fiend-y as those surrounding music and visual art. Please read, contribute to future collective literary projects, and be a part of this vision!
