The Annals of the London Mechanithropic Society, Volume XLIX: 1897 (Project <3 Version)

It's 1897, only a scant few years before the end of the century and the end of the Victorian Era. In London, among the throngs of millions of humans going about their everyday life, there are thousands of mechanithropes. Created by a series of instructions fed into Charles Babbage's secretly completed Analytical Engine by Ada Lovelace, the mechanithropes are ordinary devices by day such as clocks, telephones, sewing machines, and by night they are biomechanical people with hopes, dreams, and enemies hunting them through the dimly lit streets.

Opposing them are the agents of Department H, a crown agency that is following the orders of the Analytical Engine, which now hosts Babbage's post-deceased mind.

Play a biomechanical person formed from the essence of an ordinary household gadget in Victorian London. Get in fistfights with agents of the crown in nighttime streets. Learn the secrets of the origin of the mechanithropes. All this and more!

The Annals of the London Mechanithropic Society, Volume XLIX: 1897 (or ALMS1897 for short) is a small roleplaying game developed in less than three hours as part of Project <3 (http://projectlt3.com), a challenge for game developers to make interesting, strange, small RPGs as they improve their creativity and fight off the writer's block and doubt that comes from larger projects that seem to never end.

It runs around 25 pages in length and costs $0. However, if you feel like making a donation when you make your purchase, that would be welcome.
