Ten Duets for Lever Harp (Lockdown Music)

Written during the second occurrence of lock down in Auckland, New Zealand, and in appreciation of the small wonders around us, ”Ten Duets for Lever Harp” is a series of independent short pieces – each between 1 and 2 minutes in duration, each with its own unique mood.

Little snippets of lock down life…. The Comfy Couch, The Bumblebee, Dancing in the Gentle Breeze… in a range of genres, with a few lever changes, and technical challenges, aimed at the intermediate harpist. These pieces also explore some different harp techniques such as glissandos, xylophonics, harp percussion, and harmonics effects.

Both duet parts are written on the same page and are 2 or 3 pages long each.
