What happens during the consultation?

Writing is not an outcome in itself. In order to write well, the first step is to understand the goals of your business, product, newsletter, blog, or private journal and the action or results you want to drive with your writing.

I can define the tone of your messaging from scratch, fit into what you've already built, edit what you've already written, or start fresh.

What is this going to cost me?

The initial conversation is 100% free with no strings attached. After that, if you want more help, we'll work together to develop custom pricing for your project. Pricing is either by the hour or a flat project fee depending on your needs.

Pricing by the word misaligns our incentives and ultimately leads to work that is not up to my quality standards.
