Tombigbee's Waltz (Traditional, U.S.)

2 ratings

This tune is appropriate for players of all levels. This simple yet beautiful tune is transformed by a few unexpected chord substitutions. As with nearly every tune, I encourage nailing the backup to fully understand the chord progression. The backup uses a variety of ideas but is very accessible. The first arrangement is quite simple featuring a descending bass line and some dissonance mostly using two and three note chords and valley rolls. I expand on these ideas in a further arrangement but keep it relatively simple.
