Use the One-Minute Meditation for Skill Development to go
down in meditation and then back up again. This is a specific
skill set that needs to be practiced many times. A short
meditation is as much an opportunity as a long one. For this
reason, a One-Minute Meditations a day is just as good as a one-hour
meditation session.

is to go down in relaxation and then up again all in 1 minute.

About the Author: Casey Cole Corbin, BA, CADC-II, CCS has
worked as counselor with credentials as a certified alcohol and
drug counselor since 1998. He has used his advanced
certification as a Certified Clinical Supervisor to train and oversee
dozens of people to become counselors and therapists. He has
certifications in medical meditation and mindfulness. He does not
exclude a person’s spirit but respects their beliefs. With the
client’s permission, he readily expresses his own belief as a
follower of Jesus! He ministers at Penfield Christian Homes, a 6-
week men’s substance abuse rehab. In his private practice he
meets with clients in person and does distance therapy over video
phone for therapy and Life Coaching.
He somehow makes time to create and sell art through his art
company called Artcycle which uses recycled paper which is
liquefied and dried on screens to create No-Paint Paintings! See
examples on his website. Casey enjoys doing loud, messy, and
wet demos, exhibitions, and workshops for artists. Also
workshops which teach clinicians to use Expressive Art and
Therapeutic Meditation Therapy with their clients.
He has authored the book, “CREATE! Expressive Art Therapy
for Problem Solving and Getting Past Your Past!”
“Meditation for Everyone!” a consumer audio set. And
“Clinician’s Guide to Therapeutic Meditation” course and
curriculum in response to the therapist, counselors, pastors, and
