Alphabets de Style - Unknown Author - Unknown Date

Here we have an obscure early French lettering book. The exact origins, publication date, author and even title are completely unknown but my best estimation is that it is from the late 1800's. There is no way of knowing whether anything more than the cover and title page are missing here, but what we do have are 17 exquisite plates of beautifully crafted ornate alphabets that are among the best I've ever seen.
