Theoxenia (with extras)

The premiere graphic novella from writer/artist John R Muth. Based on a short story, and adapted first into a short film, THEOXENIA tells the story of man's first journey outside our solar system. Using a device called the Ultradrive - an untested engine that allows travel of vast distances in a fraction of the time it would normally take - the ship, named the Theoxenia, and its crew travel to our solar system's nearest neighbor. Alpha Centauri A - a star in a binary system, and likeliest location of planets not unlike our own. What follows is an exciting and tragic look at what happens when men take the power of the gods into their own hands, and don't treat the universe with the respect it deserves.
