Portfolio Review and PAINTOVER session (Personal Mentorship Program)
Tired of getting your portfolio rejected? Not sure why? Unable to identify how to push through to the next level with your art?
Every artist is at a different skill level. That means that there is no "one size fits all" tutorial program to help you push past the barriers that are stopping YOU personally from being the artist that you want to be. There are also no programs available to teach you how to get clients, how to manage your finances to work independently, or how to develop your own Intellectual Properties. It's frustrating. I know.
You need a mentor.
I've worked at studios like Capcom, Blizzard, and Riot Games and Epic Games on the worlds best-selling video games. My art house has created concept art for Disney, Sony, Activision and loads of smaller studios from stylized to realistic rendering. I know what game companies look for in a concept artist and illustrator, and I can help you to tailor your portfolio into exactly what they want.
HOW IT WORKS:
This is more than just a portfolio review.
You will submit your portfolio, and I will create a 1 hour video specially tailored for YOU, painting over your work, and answering your questions.
Here's the breakdown:
1 : I will personally review your portfolio and paint over your artwork, showing you specific elements that you can work on to improve your skills and present your portfolio. In this paint over video, we will identify your goals, and tailor your feedback toward your desired outcome, whether that's working at a specific studio or working freelance. By the end of this recorded video session, you will know exactly what you need to work on to reach the next level.
NOTE - Your video feedback session may or may not be made available to other students in my tutorial workshops.

Q-Who is this program for?
A-THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR ARTISTS WHO ARE SERIOUS ABOUT DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS AS AN ARTIST OR GETTING WORK IN THE VIDEO GAME OR ANIMATION INDUSTRY. If you are a casual artist who just enjoys drawing for fun, this program may not be suitable for you. I recommend getting feedback from people on the Aquatic Moon discord channel, or on art forums, or on facebook for example.
Q-I just signed up! What happens next?
A-After checkout I will contact you via email with further instructions. Please have at least 12 pages of your best artwork ready and include a link in the provided field. Your video feedback session will be sent to you within 2 weeks of submitting.
Q-Who is this Trent guy? And how does he know so much?
A-I've been a concept artist on 2 World of Warcraft expansions, Diablo 3, League of Legends, Hearthstone, Overwatch, Fortnite, and many other successful games. Before that I was a comic book artist at Marvel comics, and have created several IPs that were licensed for toy development, trading cards and animation. I currently operate an art house doing contracts for companies all over the world.
Q- Can I get more than 1 session?
A- Yes! If you'd like to get feedback on your work after you've progressed, you can purchase another mentorship once you are ready.
Q- Why is it so expensive? Couldn't I just get you to tell me that my portfolio is great and recommend me for a job?
A- If you feel that my personal mentorship is too expensive, then you're not ready for the level of personal training that I offer. It won't help you anyway. I've coached hundreds of artists into steady careers at top game industry studios. If you would not value my mentorship, then why'd you ask for it?
Q- Can I just work for Trent for free as an intern and learn from him?
A- No. It would be too expensive for ME to spend the time to train you.
