The Bilateral Womb

The first time I used this during an EMDR session, the client's immediate response was "this feels like being in the womb!" and thus the title The Bilateral Womb was born. Designed to be long enough for a typical therapy session, the music is 53 minutes long.

After a successful 30 year career as a piano teacher and composer, I transitioned to my calling as a certified EMDR trauma specialist.  When searching for bilateral music to use with clients, I wasn't satisfied with what I found and decided to create my own music.  Using a bilateral sound source, augmented by major and minor sus2 and sus4 seventh chords, The Bilateral Womb creates a sensation of forward movement and transition while maintaining a feeling of security and containment.
