On the evening of the 23rd of June I was feeling the familiar disillusionment with this world, all its political discourse and the bandying about of endless distinctions. On a personal level, it seemed I had come nowhere at all in all these years, still here alone holding this fragile heart and aching for reconnection to all those lost through time. I felt as if I, and we, were perched on the precipice, given a choice.
