THE MAGiCK STAR : 5 Steps To Deliberate Creation

It is often said that the only constant in life is change. 

Life is always changing. 

The weather and seasons are changing. The landscape is changing. The water. The trees. The sky. Your own body is changing all the time.

To resist change is to resist life. It’s an exercise in futility.

But oh how we try! 

We stay in jobs and relationships long after they start to stink and we get ourselves into ruts with the most stagnant, played out behavior. 

The annoying thing is we often know we’re doing this. We sense that we’re stuck, but we just can’t seem to get the courage up to do something about it.

Why is that?

Fear. Fear unchecked is a toxic master. Fear wants us to play it safe, and stepping into the unknown is risky business. There’s no guarantee that we’re not gonna hate it. 

Change can be frightening, and so we prolong the inevitable for as long as we possibly can.

This, my friend, is not living.

Life is meant to be lived, and it will go on changing without you. It does not need your permission.

There’s an old proverb that says let go or be dragged.

It’s good advice : Go with the flow or suffer. 

But those are not the most inspiring pair of options.

Lucky for us, there’s a third option : Magick.

Magick is about going with the flow and then some. It’s taking things one step further to actually direct that energy by the sails of your own intention.

Magick, as Aleister Crowley so famously said, is creating change in conformity with will, and it’s the most natural thing in the world. It’s taking the raw materials of life, the basic elements and movements of nature, and then harnessing them to create a desired outcome on purpose.

We’re talking change on your own terms.

In this way, you become an agent of change. 

At any moment you can change your mind. And when you change your mind you change your emotions. When you change your emotions you change your behavior, and when you change your behavior you change your reality.

Please know that you are entitled to do that.

Magick is your birthright.

The dreams of your heart are there for a reason. They are not there to torture you. They are meant to inspire you to reach for more. And in reaching for more, you grow, and in growing you learn what kind of stuff you’re made of.

Spoiler Alert :

You are made of star-stuff.

Carl Sagan famously said that we are all made of star stuff… “The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars… The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself.”

The Universe gets to know itself in part by the way you react to it. If you choose to recoil in fear that will be the cause to the next effect. 

Or you can react playfully. Life makes a move, and you make a move, and it makes a move, and you step to its groove- like cha cha cha- presto change-o... oh my gosh- this is actually fun!

Will you accept life’s invitation to dance? 

Will you be the star you were born to be?

You are a magick star and the center of your own personal galaxy. It’s how the Universe made you.

Everything you’ve ever wanted to be or experience exists within you right now. Stop dreaming about the life you want to live and let yourself live it already.

The only person you must believe in is yourself.

If you can do that, you can do magick.

The more you do magick, the more you will realize that you ARE magick and the entire Universe will start to respond in kind.
